We plan to make some changes on Wednesday afternoon that will require our technical team to take Online Surveys offline for a short period during a window of 17:00 – 18:00 BST.
While Online Surveys is offline, both users and survey participants will be shown our maintenance message.
We always try to provide as much notice as possible for users, but in this instance it is necessary to undertake this work as soon as possible.
Why is Online Surveys being taken offline?
Most of the time, when we implement new features or address bugs, it can be done without users noticing. But sometimes, more complex changes require our technical team to briefly take the service offline.
The main reason for this is to protect your data during a change.
When it is necessary to take Online Surveys offline, we try to minimise any impact by doing this out of regular UK business hours. But, of course, we recognise the inconvenience that any period of downtime can cause.
What changes are being made?
