Exporting and importing a survey structure ADVANCED

You can download your survey structure by exporting it in JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) format, which can be shared with other users (for example, as a survey template) and imported back into online surveys.

This page explains how to:

• Export a survey structure.
• Import a survey structure.

To export your survey structure:

1. On your Dashboard , locate your survey and click Design.
2. Click on  Export survey in the left-hand menu.
3. Choose the folder on your computer in which you want to save the file and click Save.

To import a survey structure:

1. On your Dashboard , click on  Import a survey at the top-right of your survey list.
2. In the Survey import box, click Browse… and locate the .json file you wish to import
3. Click Import.  The import process may take a few minutes, during which time the Survey import box will remain on your screen.  Please do not click Import more than once.

Once the import process has been completed, you will see a message at the top of your dashboard confirming that the survey has been imported.  The imported survey will appear as a draft in your survey list.
