How do I change the survey URL?

To change the URL of your survey:

1. Locate your survey and click on Distribute.
2. Click on  Distribution settings in the left-hand menu.
3. Change the Survey short name as required.  Note: The survey short name must be no more than 64 characters long and cannot contain spaces.
4. Click Save.
5. Your Public URL will be updated with the new short name.  You can check this by going to the  Survey launchpad.

You can change your survey short name at any time.

Please note that changing the short name on an open survey will mean that the survey will no longer be accessible at the original URL.  This will also disable any existing ‘Finish later’ links.  In addition, any personalised URLs generated prior to the change of short name will no longer work.
